About me
I’m Waseem, a Saudi founder and writer. Saudi has always been home, even when different rooms have assigned me different identities.

I grew up in Jeddah, went to an international school, and spent years in Canada. In Canada, I was the Saudi. In Saudi, I was the Canadian. Language, appearance, and belonging felt personal long before I started writing about them.
My background is in social work. Building Diggn’It brought me into the everyday work of running a men’s grooming business: listening to customers, making decisions with a team, and learning what it takes to keep something going.
I also co-hosted Third Culture Convos, where we talked through the questions that come with living between cultures. I’m still interested in what happens when people encounter a perspective they hadn’t considered.
The writing brings these parts of my life together. I write about Saudi identity, care, work, and the things we learn by building. I’m also working on a memoir, The In-Between Advantage.

Alongside the writing, I help people think through practical problems and use AI in their work. If you have a project in mind, tell me what you’re trying to do.
